Lloret de Mar is located in the southern part of the Costa Brava, 70 km away from Barcelona. This is a former fisherman’s village with a population of 19,822 people. It is 48 square kilometres wide, and has five main beaches along a 7 km coastline.
Other than its natural wonders, it also has its well-reputed share of cultural and architectural attractions, along with the two historic villages dating back to the Iberian period. Traditional town festivities and folklore keep the natives and visitors engaged the whole year round. It is also regarded as one of the best tourist centres in terms of sports facilities, shopping, leisure spots, hotels, camping, and cuisine.
