Costa Brava Beaches

We all have those days, those times when we have the sudden impulse to put on our bathing suits, slather on some sunscreen and head down to the cool, salty water, or lie relaxingly on the golden sands and bask ourselves under the warm glow of summer heat that could only signify how wonderful and lively life can be when you are experiencing such urges. It would be best to give in to the tempting shores of Costa Brava where you will experience some of the best beaches in the world!

Located strategically in the north-east of Catalonia, Costa Brava's wide extensive beaches extend up to 214 kilometres. In this blessed area, there are many different landscapes, which include the coast in one side with the Pyrenees and the Gavarres Mountains on the other, which make Catalonia simply one of the most beautiful places on earth. The primary feature of this coast is the combination of lengthy beaches with fine and golden sand, and rugged places where you can find lots of rocky creeks with waters so clear you can see everything below. Imagine such a lovely sight, combined with some luxuriant pinewoods -- the only words you will utter are “sheer heaven”.
Beaches
Not only a heaven for those who enjoy soaking up the sun or swimming leisurely in the shallows waters, Costa Brava also has something deeper to offer. The landscape of this area has got significant contribution in terms of flora and fauna, while the bottom of the sea is a wonderful world to discover, a real treat for divers. The Natural Reserves of Cape Creus and the Medes Islands have a natural landscape that is exquisite for diving, sailing, hiking and many more adventurous activities. Strolling by the rampart walk that goes along the coast, you can discover the exotic appeal of the wonderful beaches and the nooks and crannies where you can enjoy the sun and the crystal, clear waters of the Mediterranean.
